NOW HIRING Tasting Room Assistant

Established in 2004, Zin Valle Vineyards is El Paso’s only family-owned winery and tasting room. We’re open every weekend from noon – 5 p.m. and we are proud to offer complimentary wine tastings, live music and a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. We also love sharing the unique connection and ownership we have in our sister winery in Tuscany, Italy – Fattoria Svetoni.

Zin Valle Vineyards is currently seeking a Tasting Room Assistant with service industry experience to assist customers through tastings, assist with wine sales, and continuously maintain the cleanliness of the facility both inside and outside.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The following reflects the ownership’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Ownership may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time and for any reason.

  • Prepare the tasting room for operations and conduct tastings with guests - guiding them on their selections and briefly educating them about the varietals and styles of wine we offer

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the counter areas, sinks and shelves at all times and empty trash both indoors and outdoors as needed

  • Restock wine, food, bottled water, etc. when inventory is running low

  • Operate cash register and maintain a tally of sold bottles as instructed by management and required by law

  • Perform other duties as assigned by ownership

REQUIREMENTS

  • It is vital that you are consistently available and arrive on time both Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Service industry experience

  • An enthusiasm to learn about and share a passion for wine

  • Public speaking and direct customer service skills

  • Bilingual is a plus

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Online TABC certification paid for by Zin Valle Vineyards

COMPENSATION

  • $15 per hour + cash tips

  • 50% employee discount on all wines
